Trans Issue?

I was on an upgrade, and had the pedal steady, and the two times the issue happened, exactly the same sensation, I was steady on the gas. It felt like it was suddenly out of gear, did not down shift, and travel resumed with no further issue?

Trans miss or studder

Driving up a grade today, 16,000 miles on the clock, 2012 Pathfinder, suddenly the vehicle missed, like jumping out of and into gear, a brief second. Happened 2X today for the very first time. Felt like the vehicle hesitated, engine sounded normal, felt like trans or rear issue? Fluids look OK for n...

Customer Service Never Heard of this Issue

After speaking with my dealer, who claims "Nissan is aware and working on it". I wrote Nissan a letter and got a call from Customer Service, and they said, "They never heard of an issue of dimming LCD display in cold temps"! They called the dealer and the Service Manager said, &q...

LCD Center Display

Since my wife's BMW X1 does not have issues with cold weather impacting the display, including the back up camera, I spoke to the Service Manager at my Nissan Store. He tells me some 2013's have the same issue of dim display. He tells me "Nissan is working on it". I work P/T for the dealer...

Cold Temps Impact on Center Stack Display

My 2012 sits outside and the temps were down into the 20's. Today when I started the vehicle, the center radio and temperature display was barely visible. Tried cranking day and night setting to the max and again, barely visible? Anyone else have that issue in cold weather? After an hour, I got it t...

Rear Seat Rattle

It seems both outer rear seats rattle, while they are snapped into the latches. Anyone have a fix for this issue? I have tried wedging a rolled up towel in btwn the center seat back and the rattling seat, with limited results.

Cooling System Overflow Bottle

This may be on this site somewhere, but I could not find it. Cleaning my engine bay the other day I noticed my opaque overflow bottle has a short plastic nipple on the top near the cap, it simply sticks out, without a hose attached. I have a 2012 and never took notice before. There were posts on oth...

Windshield Corner Piece

I noticed the rattle in the right front pillar and found that there is a small plastic piece in the corner of the plastic cowl. It is snapped on and held in place by the cowl and the some foam tape. Well it was floating and when you had a cross wind or reached a certain speed it would rattle. I took...

New vs. 2012<

I drive many new Pathfinders, since I do dealer trades for Nissan, and despite all the improvements, I personally still like my old body style vs. the 2013. It just seems like a bit of a whale, and it does ride nicely, but still I like the truck feel. I have driven the base to the most expensive and...

Engine Vibration at Idle

I work for a Nissan Dealer and they service b y 2012 Silver, and the Service Manager tells me "that's the way those trucks idle". I tried additives and they have some effect, even with the A/C off you get that slight dip in the RPM's. You certainly can tell with the A/C cycles on and off. ...

Windshield Noise

Took the truck to my body shop today and he re-fastened that small black plastic end piece. The double face tape holding it to the windshield side frame had failed. So he fastened it properly. Replacing that small piece via purchasing it from the dealer is my next choice if this fails, but I feel it...

Wind Noise

Thanks, I have some automotive two sided tape, I will put it towards the bottom, under the hood, so the top edge fits tight against the windshield. I was going to buy a roll of one sided medium density foam tape, 1/16" or 1/8" but he roll is 75" long and I need about 2" or maybe ...

Wind Noise

I have the same wind noise coming from the area of the lower right edge of the windshield. Sounds like a b-b in a can. A distinct hard tapping sound. It might be that small black plastic piece that is wedged under the larger center cowl piece. I see someone else had this noise. The foam strip under ...

Vibration When Cold

When our temps dip below freezing, and I crank it up early in the A.M, I get a dash rattle, which seems to be to the right of the radio. Everything in the glove boxes wrapped so nothing touching plastic or metal. Once the car warms up inside the sound disappears? I cannot replicated it by tapping on...

Overseas Adjustable Headrest

I wrote to five (5) different dealers in England, as the Beatles sang, "No Reply". I would be interested in the headrest that adjusts forward and backward.
