Re: Very Last Warranty Service Appointment!

Thanks, smj999smj! I appreciate the info. This will be useful when I'm dealing with those stingy warranty reps.

Very Last Warranty Service Appointment!

Hi Everyone, I am taking my 2012 in for it's very last dealership service appointment before the warranty expires – currently about 71k miles on it. Are there any things I can/should mention that are giving me problems that typically start to go wrong at 75 - 100k miles? Here's a short list of thing...

Re: Best Wiper Blades, 2011 PF?

I have been using the Bosch Icon blades and they have worked great (front only, never ever use the rear wiper so never bothered to change it). That said, I Rain-x every few months and therefore use the wipers very sparingly, even during Miami downpours. It does help to be at speed 40-60 for rain-x t...

Re: Clock malfunction

I was having this same problem earlier this year. Since I am still under extended warranty, I took it to my dealership for service. They determined the battery needed replacement and recommended I change it asap. I was skeptical but upon changing the battery, the problem is gone -- no more issue wit...

Wow, Advan! Thanks for the awesome write-up. I just might do this next spring when my warranty is up.

Re: Larger Tires on Stock Suspension

PF Flyer: Did you end up getting those AT's? If so, how did they work out? I replaced the front struts with factory stuff, and put the AirRide bags in the back. CRC11007: Just new stock components in the front (no lifts/levelers), correct? Do the AirRide bags provide any lift? Also consider upgradin...

Re: R51 rear door rattle.

I also have had this issue for quite some time now (2012, Silver Ed.). For a while I thought it was a loose license plate but now I'm pretty sure it's the gate latch.
Was anyone able to fix this issue?

Re: PROJECTOR STYLE HEADLIGHTS AVAILABLE FOR 08-12 PATHFINDERS

Thanks for the info! I'd love to get my hands on the OEM projectors but $1,300 is too much. It looks like they were available on Euro models in 2011-2012. Pretty sure those side mirror blinkers never made it to the US market either... http://www.dieselstation.com/wallpapers/albums/Nissan/Pathfinder-...

Yes. The head-unit is a nightmare. A total piece of over-designed shit.
I am going to look for other threads about it to see what my options are.

Head unit?

What about, replacing the whole head unit? I know it may seem like a stupid question but how much do you think that would cost?

?

Assuming only video from the GPS is being sent to the screen, how would the interface work?
Has anyone had any luck with a setup like this?
If so, can you post pictures?
