2011 SV here. I have stock 17s and run 265/70/17. Raises the height about an inch which was good for me as I didn't want to do an actual lift. Info is in my signature. Also, if you've never driven wit ...

What are the largest tires you can fit on the R51 on stock suspension without rubbing/causing issues?

I don't see a need in my case for any sort of lift but I do drive in some sandy conditions and ...

For those of you who do not have a front tow hook, want one, but do not want to spend ~$70 for it... I may have a solution for you.

It was killing me to not have a great source of a recovery point ...

thing that you guys are talking about?

One thing I noticed immediately when I got my Pathy was how stable it was at hwy speeds, 80-90 mph. My point of reference is the 2011 Xterra i used to have, c ...

So how does it drive now, with the new shocks? : )

Put the Airlift and new sway bar bushings in yesterday evening. Just went for a short drive and can already tell there is an improvement. Won't re ...

I would say the air bags are a lot cheaper and easier than replacing the coil springs. If you get involved in replacing springs, a lot of times you find bolts that have seized to the bushing sleeves, ...

If money is an issue, the springs are the cheapest and easiest to change. Start with those first. I would also change out the rear sway bar bushings. They're cheap. Goes with OEM on those. They're the ...

The main issue isn't so much the rear shocks, but the weak factory coil springs...but, of course, if your rear shocks are bad, it will make matters worse. Initially, people would swap out the stock re ...

So, one week into ownership I have already experienced what some of you call the "death roll" while on the highway hitting some bumps. I thought the Pathy was trying to get rid of me.

To ...

I am very skeptical of this mod myself.

Also keep in mind that Nissan MAFs ( which are BTW expensive) do not like oiled filters like a K&N... so if u are thinking about it fair warning... Smile

Honestly no. It was a pain not so much as to actually mod it, but to deal with the trouble code even though it went away eventually (even after ECU reset, forced clearing it, just letting ECU figure t ...

I did the airbox mod. Didn't notice a HUGE difference in performance to be honest, but I can see how letting in more air would help the engine. After I did mine, it threw a code that would come off an ...

The powertrain in a V6 Xterra and Frontier is (except for the tuning for premium in the R51) 100% the same as in a V6 R51.

So you are saying the the air box mod the Xterra and Frontier guys rave ab ...
