No worries tutty, there is a lot of bad info on the R51 Pathfinders especially with bolt pattern and offset. If you do a search for Wheel Spacers for the Path a good majority believe the Path is using the same bolt pattern in the 50 and 51... People have enough issue with getting a proper 6x4.5 rim ...

F Alpine in the A

Hey Boogey, I ended up getting the 8120, Great unit, does everything I want, the UI is just OK tho. I know I already post about it so I won't go into it. The PLV7 has been rendered an Anchor, AGAIN. So I pulled my tusty Ancient Phoenix Gold M100 out of storage, PM'd the board and checked the compone...

Stang, you might want to look into the Cam Chain TSB out there, I remember seeing something about this in the past.

Sorry to hear your ownership experience has been so problematic. I'm having a hard time accepting your Pathy could be giving you so many problems. Not that I'm calling you a liar, it's more of denial on my part. I've been blessed with one of the first production runs and every issue I've had has bee...

OK so both shafts have been replaced and I'm glad to say a vibration at high speeds I was attributing to agressive tires was also being caused by the damaged shafts. Now I can understand people saying "well isn't that obvious" but I've owned vehicles that have had bad U joints and the nois...

You would probably get more bang for your buck to replace the Kinked up POS Y pipe.

Welcome Derrick, I took it to Wilson Nissan in Torrington. I'm somewhat in the equipment maintenance sector so I'm especially critical of service departments. It'll probably be a haul for you (1.5hrs), but if it's a really good shop you'll be going less, sometimes it's worth a drive like that. Then ...

OK so, went to the new (to me) dealership to have them check out the noise. With in 45 min I had an answer and 50% of it fixed.. Forward ticking noise: Front Driveshaft Reverse squealing/squeak: Rear driveshaft. The front shaft was replaced before they even told me they looked at it. Hate to say it ...

Had my path since Dec 04 and can honestly say I noticed it over a crappy road the first time I had my windows partially down. I was hoping Blink's experience would parallel mine but for me the OME seems to have cured it in my path (with the lower impact frequency et all.) Then again whenever I drive...

Wouldn't it be better to comprise a list of wheels that have been tested on the pathfinder/Fronty/X/equator? There are quite a few other aspects to wheel compatibility aside from lug spacing. I've heard horror stories from Frontier and Xterra owners about buying wheels with the proper caliper cleare...

Yup, the Guzzi is my new fair weather commuter/toy. I've had a serious stiffy for The Griso since it's concept form, which for once is less attractive than the actual production vehicle.

Going to the dealer down the street from my house as soon as I get out of work tomorrow morning. More to come...

Low Speed ticking or squealing

Anyone experiencing a low speed click/ticking noise? Seems to have just started a month ago when rolling around the parking lot I noticed a ticking almost as if I had a nail in my tire. The kicker is when I put it in reverse to back into a spot or up a driveway I get a coresponding sqeak/squealing n...
