The Offroad trim came with 265/75r16 which is a 32" tire. You could go 265/65r18 or maybe even 265/70r18 with the melt mod.

I think going wider or taller would result in rubbing without a lift.

I just reread my other post and its a bit misleading. The manual and LSD 350z have different length stubshafts, not half shafts which changes the carrier a bit. Maybe kevinthefro can illuminate a little bit since he has swapped his R200 for one from a G35. The 350z Auto w/o LSD carriers should be di...

From my searching the 350z Auto w/o LSD has equal length stubshafts. It would be great to find the technical drawings from the R51 R200 as it would answer a lot of these questions. The link below is the tech specs for the Quaife QDF10L, which I believe will work for V6 R51. I would email these tech ...

There are a couple threads floating around here about the R200 in the R51. The R200 and C200k are similar except the R200 uses c clips so not a direct swap. SMJ, as usual, is right about the Frontier/X diff w/ elocker. Its the M226 which is totally different. One forum member was able to use a C200k...

I tried removing my LCA without removing the cv and it was a pain, cutting and grinding. It wasn't pretty.

Did the other side with the cv shaft removed. So much easier. Rented all the tools from oreillys.

Could it be a leaky exhaust upstream causing the P0430? Would that throw a different code?

I am not sure about the misfires. Maybe some fuel injector cleaner through the next tank, unless thats the liquidmoly you mentioned.

The stock 16" wheel is 7" wide for the 2005+. I'm not sure about the pre2004 rims. You could always just take both to the tire shop and measure.

Not all tire shops will put a narrower tire on. I'm running 235/85r16 and they made me sign something because of the width.

I did an oil change with Royal Purple 5w-30 and its running better. I think allowing my timing chain guides to wear for so long may have built up some sludge deposits in smaller passageways. Or its the rear timing chain cover leak and RP added some new life to the seal and bought me a little more ti...

I would call Nissan without any high expectations. Shoddy work from a dealer should matter.

I wouldn't be too concerned about that coil pack coming out. Epoxy would be a bad solution until you change your plugs at 300k miles...

I was wondering the same thing other day.

The diesel Pathfinders came with the re7r01B which I believe is the same transmission in the Infinitis.

Thanks smj. I park it facing down hill and there is little to no noise and the pressure builds quickly. If I park it facing up hill pressure takes quite a bit longer and its quite noisy. Really strange to me but I'll just keep parking it facing down hill until some other symptom arises as oil pressu...

Smj,

That is actually my greatest fear considering I just had it stripped all the way down for the timing chain repair. I really have no desire to do that again.

I'll pull the valve cover this weekend and peek around a bit then monitor from there.
