See, now I'm really confused, I have no manual mode.
Just a "t" shifter with a small button on the left side of the shaft below
the button that unlocks the shifter so it can move that turns off the overdrive.. Did I buy an S that has SE badges on it?
Well, that is great news, I thought it was supposed to be
a 5 speed auto, since I bought it used, and saw the 4 positions, I thought I was mistaken about the trans. Thanks for the clarification.
I see no indication that the tranny is a 5 speed unit, only 4 speeds plus lock up....the shifter only has 4 positions and I feel when the converter locks.
Seems and feels like a 4 speed.
I have an 08 SE, 4 ltr 6, but the trans is a 4 speed w/ lockup torque converter. Are you guys calling the torque converter 5th gear, or does the 5.6 V-8 have 5 gears and a converter lock-up????
Is the trans cooler still in their design for the pathy? Has anyone explored the aftermarket for an all aluminum radiator that is already being built? I'm a newby, to the site and to Pathfinders in general. Thanks for answering....
I've bought a "Lloyd's" brand rubber mat for mine, should be here in a few days. It's cut just for the Pathfinder and is real rubber so nothing will slide on it. I've had Weathertech and Husky both and they neither one kept my plastic tool boxes from sliding. My PF is my new "truck&qu...
jeff,
the trouble could be all three, them, fliud leve. and weak cap...
where is the temp gauge sitting at idle? Is it cooler than normal?
good luck...
deermjd,
If your insurance company paid for the damaged glass repair, they could have some pull with the installer. Also, hopefully the glass company is a larger repair shop with something to lose if the insurance company pulls them from other installation jobs, good luck.
The 2008 SE I bought just last week had weak lift shocks on it also. I was surprised they were already weak....Also, my SE had no latch assist, it just slams shut, maybe it's optional on SE and standard on LE...IDK
Just bought a used 2008 Pathfinder. Came over from diesel powered trucks. Tired of high fuel price and low quality. I only have 2WD but I really only NEED 2wd...lol. I'm self-employed starting in January, this is my new company vehicle. Good meeting all of you! No pictures yet.
