"I drive like a bat out of Hell"! Maybe it's just me, but that sound disturbing. Slow down, you will live longer. As for tires, I had Michlen LTX tires on my 95 Pathfinder and they were great on Road.
That sounds great. I had a 95 model and my two sons grew up in it and it had 225,000 + miles on it and was still going strong. I recently put my step son in it to help him out. I love my new 05 model, but I feel like I lost an old friend with my 95 gone. That vehicle could easily be on the road anot...
I'm not an expert on lifting a pathfinder, but I just used the PRG 2" mini lift kit with new HD Bilsetin Shocks on the rear and new KYB Struts on the front. I'm very happy with the look and the ride.
I have never heard anythink good about Carmax. One of my sons was looking at a truck and I told him to ask for a carfax on it and they lost interest in selling to him on the spot. I had heard carmax had a lot of complants for selling vehicles that had been totaled from the "Katrina" floods...
The front struts were OEM and the rear shocks were Reflex. All were worn out! The KYB Struts and the Bilstein Shocks feel great. I would recommend the set up.
The lift is complete and I love it. This is what the Pathfinder should have looked like from the factory. I know everyone has seen this lift, but I will post picture later.
Received the PRG 2"mini lift kit today. Stopped in at Advance Auto and borrowed a coil spring compressor, and sprayed PB Blaster on the suspension nuts and bolts to soak over night. I'm very excited to start this project tomorrow after work. Plan on doing the rear first and the front Saturday m...
I'm new too and glad to know you. My Pathfinder had no apparent issues with the radiator, or transmission but I did the bypass as a precaution. The head mechanic at my Nissan Dealership recommended I do it without delay. I also did the bypass on my son's 05 Frontier. I figure the old, "an ounce...
Thanks, I found a lot of what I have learned about my R51 on this site before I became a member. Wish I new it was here before, but I really didn't have any issues with my 95 Pathfinder.
I just bought my second Pathfinder. My first was a 95 4x4 that I purchased from the original owner with 70K miles. I drove it for 11 years and it had over 230,000 miles when I sold it. My new one is an 05 LE 4X4, storm metalic gray, with 68K miles. I have already had the fuel sending unit replaced un...
