Interesting fact, Hamsar's manufacturing facility is in Burlington... I'm thinking this has to be related to the module, though DRLs are usually wired through your high beams. In the case of the pathfinder, the bulbs are the same, just at different angles. I'd have your mechanic check whether the mo...

This is a pigtail spring: https://i.ibb.co/PZcYjDV/pigtail-spring.jpg And this is the picture of the Moog 81117 from the link you posted: https://i.ibb.co/Nn5Q98b/Moog-81117.jpg It is obvious that Moog has the spec in their database wrong, this is clearly NOT a pigtail spring, and is in fact, a squa...

as funny as that guy is, it was hard for me to watch this video with a pathy that was newer than mine that was basically hooped. I am hoping to get at least 2-3 more years out of this rig. If the head gasket went tomorrow, it would probably be sent to the wrecker. Makes me sick just thinking about i...

Maybe SMJ can weigh in, but that makes no sense. The mounting, interface, and components in the rear suspension are identical between the V6 and V8. Same Coil Bucket on the bottom, same spring spacer on the top. (I checked both OEM and Aftermarket parts sources and diagrams from OE).

You can also look into the V8 rear spring option. I've looked at these too. Seems like a good option. Would be Moog # 81117, and the rated load is 785kg vs 721kg, so an extra 64kg x 2 of load capacity (at least as far as the springs are concerned) which is good. At the time, I didn't have a choice ...

415lb tongue weight, 4600lbs dry weight, 6000lbs fully loaded.

Yes I used the NAPA branded rear springs, made by federal mogul (Moog), they are the same constant rate coils we are recommending.

The air lift 1000 is the best most cost effective kid you could do to your pathfinder imho.

The Moog springs are the way to go! They are constant rate springs which are better for towing. A pointer on the air lift install, make sure you put the airbag into the coil before you put it into the rear lower control arm. The Moog springs have a few more coils, making it difficult to impossible t...

I would check for any ABS codes. Sounds like a loose wire or connection.

Haven't worked on an R50, but most of my Nissans have had a panel under the hood, and a panel either in the glove compartment or under the dash on the driver side, or both.

The owner's manual will be a big help, as it may help you find the right fuse before you go hunting for it.

FML - Rear control arm nightmare

Hey everyone! So I decided I needed a new set of tires for my 05 pathy. Found a great deal on some Cooper Discoverer ATWs, $145 each. But I always make sure to get an alignment when I get new tires, and thats where the drama started... Things they found when they tried to do an alignment: 1. Front D...
