Why would you want a brush guard? A brush guard is likely to worsen the front end damage to your vehicle when you get into slower-speed accident as the brush guard pushes into areas/parts that might not be affected by the impact itself, otherwise. A member of xterraownersclub.com has actually experi...

Not exactly sure what you guys are trying to do to your pathfinders, but try Automotive Customizers

If you have any questions on parts/items they sell, just pick up a phone. The owners are very good people.

I would think that going back to the original tire size will increase mpg as well. By how much? Don't know. By going back to smaller tires... When a tire is narrower, surface area that pushes through to move forward decreases. That also brings the body to slightly closer/lower to the ground. Those r...

Has it rained in your area? How do those tires perform on wet pavement? (I'm more worried about being able to stop than start moving as I just recently found out a hard way that stock BFG Radial Long Trail T/A tires do not have a good grip to stop on wet pavement...)

My all time best is 21.7 mpg. (display said 20.x mpg). 7,000+ miles on odo.

Kinda irrelevant, but I have seen 36+ mpg on the display...temporarily...all on downhill. :D

Hopefully, KEVSTER has received his Bilsteins from 4x4Parts by now. I just wanted to share my experience with Bilstein's since that's what KEVSTER was asking. I had Bilsteins from 4x4Parts.com on my '01 Xterra for about 80K+ miles. Since I replaced my OEMs with Bilsteins when OEMs were still in good...

I'm not sure if there is that much difference in MPG between '07 and '09, but I'm getting 19~20 MPG mix (30 city/70 hwy...roughly). I do drive very...mildly, though.

Welcome!

My '09 SE has 3,000+ miles so far, and I have been using 87. No pinging yes, and mpg has been 18~19 combined. Since it says "premium fuel recommended," I'll keep using 87 until it starts to ping or to run poorly.

Or, you can just you the hitch that is standard equipment for all pathfinders... Of course, it doesn't always work depending upon the terrain you're in, etc. but it is a solid point of rear extraction point as well.

I have it, too. It's like health insurance. If you have it and need it, you'd be really happy you decided to have it. If you don't have it and need it, it's going to costs quite a bit depending upon what it might be. It's a Nissan, so chances of some major components go wrong would be low like other...

Have you thought about visiting Gooseneck as well if you're already in that area/direction? http://www.panoramio.com/photo/9260274 No I hadn't. Thanks for the suggestion. Have you been there yourself? If so, did you hike or camp in the area? Yes, I have. Gooseneck was a quick stop. It has a short w...
