I think you should inspect the brakes before you replace them. Is the grind a hard metal grind, like the pads are down to metal, or perhaps are you hearing the ABS actuator working, which would explain why you are feeling the action in the brake pedal. Typcially the front brakes on these Pathfinder...

The title says it all folks. I have an 08 pathy just hit 50k when I hit he brakes hard at all it makes a terrible grind and the pedal literally almost forces my foot off the pedal. One thing I did was order new foam seals from Nissan, which aren't expensive, as they will not come with the aftermarket radiator and the old ones will likely not be in good shape. I'm looking to replace mine as well 08 just hit 48 thousand miles I want to do this as a precautionary measure any suggestions on which after market brand that isn't 350$ I was thinking the spectra premium CU2807 but am not positive as to which one would be best @ a reasonable price
