That's the exact sensation I'm getting. Thinking about changing the transmission fluid since it hasn't been changed since 40,000 miles ago. Hopefully that will help.

No stumbling, just a jolt. You can hear/feel a thump when letting off the gas or barely pressing the gas pedal. It never does any of this with OD off. I don't think I have vacuum leaks. I've sprayed hoses with starting fluid and had no change in idle.

I did the job myself. It's a beast to get the front timing cover off. You will need a special ring gear stopper. Try holding down the set button (without the key being in) for a few seconds until the 1&2 buttons light up.

sounds like your cluster dimmer switch. Try turning it back and forth a few times.

I'm having the same problem, no starting after replacing the sending unit. I can hear the pump running when I switch the key to the on position. What could be the problem? Too much air in the system?
