I looked into the seat a little today. I didn't remove it but did alittle Inspecting from the rear. I am 99% sure it's a bushing on the slide rod that makes it go from front to back. I would have to remove the seat and remove the rail to fully inspect but I believe that to be the culprit. Gives it a...

Hey man the truck is really coming together. It's looking great. I just realized you are now lifted and have the same tires I have. Cooper ATP 275/65/18. After you have a few days to drive with the lift let me know what you think. I've been debating to go the same route. Also, have you had a chance ...

Thanks - it seems like there is some play in the sliding mechanism, front to back. It's especially evident when braking and then accelerating - the seat moves around. Not a big deal, ill get to it eventually. The steering is more annoying - certain bumps make it dance around when driving and the fr...

We just had the steering column replaced on our '08 with 75K. Bought the car almost a year ago from Carmax and I sprung for an extended warranty for $1500 for 3yrs. Between the steering column, tie rod end and alignment, I've already made $900 of my $1500 back. Still, I've never had steering column...

Who Makes Nissans Waterpumps?

I am just curious if anyone knows who manufactures the nissans waterpumps. Maybe you've seen a logo or branding on it. I know hitachi makes quite a few parts for Nissan, I just wasn't sure if this was the case with their waterpumps. I am going to replace my serpentine belt and clutch fan soon and I ...

I second smj, the akebono pro act brakes are fantastic. I just replaced front and rear brake rotors and pads a few months back. The factory's were in good shape but I was just doing a complete preventative maintenance overhaul. The brakes perform much better then stocks. Be sure to bleed out the sys...

Welcome. I have an 08 v8 LE as well. I am also rocking 275/65/18's. The slightly larger size really gives the truck a nice look. When you refer to a loose seat what do you mean? My drivers seat has alittle free play in the slide mechinism and haven't addressed the issue yes as it's not much concern ...

The lights look good on that bar, gives a nice Aggressive edge. That switch is nice and clean... Do you have a part number for it? Would you buy different lights again if you could go back? I was looking into a light bar for the mouth of the bumper as I think it looks clean but yet still remains fun...

I was hesitant to mount my 32" bar in the lower grill but it turned out fantastic. I have no experience with light bars so I bought a lower end ($130) light bar to test and it exceeded my expectations. The extra light on the beach is very nice. I have tried to take a picture of the brightness ...

We have 2 year old twins and a 5 and 7 year old. Yes, 4 kids total. We love the path. It's not as functional for a family as our odyssey was. But the pathfinder has 4wd and a big v8. It's just more fun to drive. The pathfinder doesn't have the space to carry all the kids baggage on roadtrips but it'...

Welcome, maybe I'll see you out at the beach sometime. We love to camp out at freeman park. Check it out sometime, I advise to stay away on the holidays as it gets insane. Otherwise it's pretty relaxing. Btw, I am from Raleigh. Let me know if you need anything.
