What size did you end up going with? Reason I ask, you have the same pathfinder I do. I ended up selling my 18 LE rims and picked up a set of 17 Frontier rims to put on some 265/70/17 duratracs. It's a 31.6 as I didn't want to go 32s with the 18 LE rim and have the possibility of rubbing. Duratracs...

I have a 2008 v8 so maybe I can chime in. The start up ticking right at the beginning is exactly what mine does. It has done it for as long as I can remember. I had a couple Nissan techs check it out and the diagnosis was as stated in the above comments an exhaust leak from one of the headers, possi...

I will agree with all the previous statements. I personally went with 275/65/18 as this size kept me from getting an LT tire which is significantly heavier and rides harsher then my SL tire. The tire weight is only 5lbs. Over the stock tires at 43lbs.. Plus at only .5" smaller (32.1") in s...

Update...

So I have had the tires 500 miles now and I love them. They are a great overall tire with superb on road manners. They are excellent in the rain and rather quiet considering how aggressive they are. Just a very slight hum around the city (pavement quality makes huge difference in hum) but on the hig...

Thanks for your help... I got under the path tonight and the driveshaft tube itself is aluminum with steel yokes. I am going to get the (MOOG 354c) I did a little research and they are essentially the same however the 354c resists corrosion. I ordered and picked them up today. Both u joints for $30....

Which U-Joints?

I am about to change the two rear driveshaft ujoints on my 2008 V8. I was about to order the Ujoints and noticed for the rear driveshaft they have two different models listed? One for aluminum yokes and the other for steel? Any guidance as to the correct part would be great... Thanks Here are includ...

I didn't have the General AW tires when I bought my pathfinder. It had the BFG Long Trails on that I didn't think were good enough for the New England snow. So, I got a set of General Grabber AT2's and I have to say, I've had them for 2 winters and they have been awesome. Good Luck +1 I love my Gen...

Welcome. I think the largest size determined size you can fit under stock suspension with very slight rubbing is 285/65/18. I personally went with 275/65/18. I had slight issue with rubbing after install but post alighnment correction, rubbing is gone. I would recommend this size over your two choic...

Your symptoms sound a lot like old burnt fluid. If it doesn't do it when the car is cold but rather when the car has been running for a while where the fluid gets warm, most likely you will benefit from a full fluid change as the others have said. Id like to add... never do a flush to an auto transm...

Ok, so I had the General Grabber AT2's installed on this past Saturday. I can't give a complete review YET . I have only driven on them about 15 miles as I went to the alignment shop right after getting them installed only to find out that my rear lower control arm bolts are seized. They told me a f...

I will know in the next couple days. I am waiting for them to come in. I am almost positive I'll see a loss in MPG's as I am going from the stock 30.5" to 32.1", plus, an increase in around 8lbs per tire.

Have you looked into the Goodyear "Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar" They are the replacement to the silent Armors and come in a P rating and are sold at discount tire. Great warranty, and a great all around tire. I had the silent armors on my old lifted 99 Jeep and they were gr...
