I would honestly say that it would be more hassle than it's worth. You would need to find a wrecked 4wd pathfinder to pull all the needed parts...including the electrical parts.

You can buy the fob on either ebay or amazon, and program them yourself. Programing instructions are floating around online. It's not hard at all.

Guys, Im no mechanic by no means...but I have never heard of a timing chain " going bad"...and rarely have heard of a timing chain breaking..belts yes, chains, no. and at 66k miles? True....but I've seen many timing chain guides, and tensioners go bad. And if you're in there replacing tho...

Our trucks have a timing chain, not belt. Timing chains are "suppose" to last the life of the car. But the tensioner and guide sometimes need replacement.

Thats definitely a nice refresh. Just got my truck, 3K miles in and all Ive done is K&N filter, new wiper blades and tranny bypass (I think my vac plugs are leaking, starting to notice a little anti-freeze smell every once in a while). I owe her an oil change next! If the vac plug indeed is lea...

The trans fluid would be like a strawberry milk'ish if coolant was mixed, but it would be kind of hard to tell with just the dip stick. Find out what the code is, it could be a number of things, but the common seems to be p0455 (evap leak) or a cat bank 1 or 2 (could be a bad cat, or bad 02 sensor)....

People only blow it out in case if the cooler does fail it wont contaminate the coolant in the radiator. It's up to you if you want to clean it out or not.

I am thinking of the HID kit for my 2007. I looked the ddm site and wondered if someone could itemize the order, I looked at the hi/lo 35 watt slim ballast system 5000k do you need the HID wiring harness and the error code eliminator? they are also showing a 55 watt lamp - has anyone tried these? I...

I have mine running as individual bags (did not use the T-fitting), but left the lines long enough to connect them later as an option. I would have tested both setups, but it started to rain as I was wrapping up. The Pathy feels much better in turns and accelerating from a stop. I have mine set righ...

How many miles did the car have?
What were the symptoms?
I only ask since you stated Nissan is picking up the entire tab.
