These are great tires. I've had a set in my OE size. Just make sure you rotate them every oil change (~5k) or they will get loud. Also, you will most likely notice an increase in MPG. I believe they gave me an extra mog or two over the stock tires. Goodluck with the nail situation. If it's not in th...
Thanks guys. It really is an awesome truck. I was actually out at the beach today. Sunny and 55 so I had to soak up some Vitamin D. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h10/turdlepoker/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsye5dxncv.jpg http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h10/turdlepoker/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpswpp...
Awesome post and great pictures. Thanks for taking the time and posting this. I am going to install mine over the weekend if the weather is nice. I am tired of the back end of this thing when I have the car loaded with kids and gadgets.
Could you post a picture? I doubt it's rusted through, on the underside it can appear as more rust then their actually is. Most likely it's just surface rust. I would suggest removing it and then using an aircraft stripper (can be found at autozone) or a wire wheel to remove the rust and old chippin...
I had a small rattle back there which I thought might have been a rock or a screw of some sort. I removed the panel to find it was one of the white plastic clips from behind the license plate. The license plate was still screwed in fine but the clips the screw attaches too are very cheap and parts b...
"Fuel pump" Try this... Turn key to ACC. Let system prime (usually u can hear the fuel pump running). Turn off then back to ACC mode (where all dash lights illuminate) for 5 sec. Turn off do again. Total 5 times, (used this to test your 4-5 attempts) on the 6th try and start the engine. I...
(I originally posted this under the wrong (R52) category) From time to time, my 2008 LE, won't start. It turns over fine, lots of cranking power, but won't start. After 4 or 5 attempts, it fires up fine. The problem may not occur for several weeks, then out of the blue, it occurs again. No fault co...
Volvite, those tires look nice and beefy on the 17's. A little more rubber for the cushion of the butt is always nice. Bigez, if you are looking for something semi rugged and good on gas I would highly recommend the BFG rugged terrains. Not to be confused with the rugged trails. They are suppose to ...
Yeah the cryo rotors were just a few dollars more and with a heavy vehicle like the pathfinder I figured it could only help prevent warpage. Once parts arrive later in the week I will provide a detailed how-to on installing the brakes and rotors the proper way.
You should have the 12.6" if you have a V8 LE. I would pass on the genuine Nissan brakes. Their rotors have been prone to warpage and I've had squeaking issues with my genuine Nissan front pads (made by Hitachi) until I finally replaced them with Akebono PRO ACT ceramics. I went with Raybestos...
Welcome to the forum. Yes you can post pictures but you will have to upload the pictures to a hosting site such as photobucket.com and then copy the link and post that link in your forum post. Just to add so there isn't any confusion.... It's the [img] link from photobucket. Just so you don't have ...
I am about todo a complete brake overhaul and was going to buy all OEM Nissan parts but figured I could save a few bucks if I went with aftermarket (napa, autozone, advanced auto, etc.) I noticed for my particular model 2008 V8 LE it shows a 11.6" rotor and a 12.6" front rotor. Normally, I...
