Battery testing

I was going to have my battery tested at one of the auto parts stores where they put some tester on the bat when it is in the truck. Is there any harm in doing this? Can it harm the electrical system in the truck?

Towing with the R51 V6 I have noticed little difference between being in OD and out of OD not much of a difference compared to the difference in several SUV's 06 Toyota 4Runner V6, 2000 Jeep Grand Cherkee I-6, Dodge Durango V8. All the other SUV's has quite a difference in RPM in and out of OD unlik...

Lol... You bring up a good point most people sitting in the passenger seat would say it's a V8 after a 70 mph pass on the highway!

BFG AT's are real puncture resistant but do give off more noise then a lesser aggressive AT tire. They also ride a bit harsher being a three ply sidewall. Then Hancook DynaPro ATM is a real good option that does exceptionally well in many areas the only thing that kept me from buying them over the C...

Tires and winter driving

Just some advice on tires and winter driving from someone who has seen a substantial ammount of snow driving in his life. The best option is obviously snow tires and a narrow tread is always best since the truck weight per square inch is at its highest and you will especially notice it when turning ...

VQ40 cat?

It seems that on this forum as well as several others that deal with Nissan VQ40 DE V6 motors seem to have cat converter issues when the millage gets up there. Not all of them obviously but I read several reports of it. My 2012 Pathfinder is at 65,000 miles are my cats something I should save for fi...
