You may want to let him know you're racing next time. This isn't going to happen, period!

I got my super strength UJ's at NAPA for around $20. OEM prices are crazy high, and your simply reinstalling the same part that failed in the first place. Go with aftermarket.

Any redesign coming??

Anyone hear any rumors, or see any pictures of the next generation Pathy? I mean geaz, I've got a 2005, and the body style is unchanged for the most part. There for a while, Nissan was running 5 year body style plans. This would mean we should be due for a change. I haven't seen anything yet, other ...

That's too bad. Hope it gets cleared up soon.

Also, I'm curious what they meant by "one piece". My 2005 bumper cover is one piece as well. As far as I know, only the Frontiers have the 2-piece covers.

Mine just have a big "11" in the middle.

I had them overnighted from the dealership. Only cost me an extra $3.

I'd like to see RSS feeds implemented. I use it for easy reading on all my other messageboards. It allows me to keep track of new posts and even sync them through to my Windows Mobile phone to read on the go.

oh, sorry to 're-spark' your interest on you Pathy :) For the rear bumper. We did some prelim measurements. We could actually use any rear bumper for the 05+ Xterra. There has to be a slight modification to the bracket that attaches to the frame since the Pathy bolts a bit different and we have to ...

You should be able to take one of the bolts to the hardware store and find something close. Just make sure its a GRADE 8 bolt and you'll be fine. In fact the lowes here has a great selection of grade 8 nuts and bolts! Unfortunately you're not going to find much in the way of fine threaded at my loc...

How much tranny fluid should one expect to loose when performing this? Was it enough so you guys had to buy some more and top it off once completed?

I'm not sure if it's ever been done or not. Since the part failure is pretty common, i think it's safe to assume it an OEM joint. No way to know for sure though. BTW, I used a grinder and cut the final 2 bolts off. Both u-joints are replaced and drive shaft is ready to be put back on the truck. Only...

Update: This is crazy how tight some of these are on. I went ahead and picked up a set of the new grip-tight combo wrenches. These things work great. That combined with some pen. oil and I've manage to get 6 of 8 off. Got 1 left on each side. I had to put the wrench on, and actually use my leg/foot ...
