Re: Considering BFG T/A KO2 replacement

Well, I've spent hours and days reading reviews, listening and looking at videos about different tires and found some weak points at most of them: I want rugged look, at least like BFG T/A KO2 or Duratracs, so most od light AT tires fail on this category. I want them to be good on-road, as well off-...

Steering wheel controlls not working

Hi, I just bought another 2010 Pathfinder, this time V6 dCi, which has after chip tuning 280 HP and is pleasure to drive, especially compared to my other one with 4-cyl diesel engine and 174 HP :D But despite being younger, steering wheel buttons for audio, navigation, and cruise controll do not wor...

Considering BFG T/A KO2 replacement

Hi, I know tires were and will be reconsidered and repeated over and over on this and many other forums, simply because there's no one-fit-all tire. I've had some tires before on my Pathfinder, and all have some flaws: GoodYear Duratracs were the best for light to medium off-road, excellent on grave...

Re: Longer sway bar links for 2-inch lift?

I am afraid that's out of budget, and also I have no idea where to get those in Europe. Googled, but found nothing usefull.
Still looking for info on whether to prolong new sway bar links for half of inch or inch maybe....or better not.

Longer sway bar links for 2-inch lift?

Hi guyz, I've put 2-inch lift with OME front and rear struts/dampers kit on my 2006 Pathfinder. As old struts were already worn out and compressed a bit, it actually added some 3 inches of lift in reality. Nice looking, good ride off-road, but kind of boaty feeling on some fast driven irregularities...

Re: Loose wipers?

Excellent, thank you very much! Ry the Car guy is fantastic, and your link rocks! Unfortunatelly I found out it is not just loose, but those plastic "bearings" wore out on both arms. One wore so much that rocker arm simply felt off, the other has just a lot of play and will also break soon...

Loose wipers?

Hi,

yesterday I noticed my right windshield wiper has a lot of play. Checked and saw it is the wiper axle having play.
See the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfE0cs32RmY
Will this be pain to repair?

Re: Weird double arrow green dash light

Nope, it's not like those you mentioned. But fortunatelly I caught it as it was blinking with left indicator in the middle of crossroads. But even then it was not one EVERY blinker ON, but on every 2nd or 3rd blink. I do not have a trailer to test, whether it lits up when I connect trailer lights ac...

Re: Weird double arrow green dash light

Well, I think I might figured it out. The only indicator lamp, which is mentioned in user's manual, but NOT shown, is trailer lamps indicator , which lights up, when extra current is pulled out of trailer socket. In my case I have extra pair of LED turn signals, and with existing turn signals conver...

Weird double arrow green dash light

Hi, Anyone knows what would this dash light mean? It is located on bottom center of dash lights, and it sometimes lights on with left or right indicator. As this is usually during making a turn, I did not manage to take a photo of it, but it looks like this: <-|-> Any idea? It does NOT light up with...

Squeaky and jerky steering wheel when cold

Hi guyz, during winter I noticed that when cold starting in the morning first few turns of steering wheel are extremely squeaky, jerky and like servo is hesitating to kick in or not. So sometimes it was quite hard to take off from parking, as I simply was not able to turn wheels to make first turn. ...

Re: OME lift bad drive experience

@silverarrow27, yp, you are rite. Looking at whole service I am dissapointed. I understand this garage offloaded the alignment part of the work to 3rd party, but it is their responsibility to check for final results. Probably they offered refund exactly for the same reason. But now after riding for ...

Re: OME lift bad drive experience

Geeez, rear alignment was disaster! I did not notice, but even with naked eye it could be seen, that one of rear wheels has negative camber, while other stnds right up, and one wheel toes inwards significantly, while other does not. It was TOE OUT for 10 degrees almost, and CAMBER out for 4 degrees....

Re: OME lift bad drive experience

Wow, gerat info, guyz! Thank you! I will definitely first try those REAR adjustments: + 0'5 camber 0,9 mm toe out But I also suspect something wrong in FRONT end. These days it was raining quite a lot and it was DRASTICALLY noticed light steering wheel in long fast corner s, like on highway, going s...

Re: Cannot shake the shake!

Interesting! I am in the boat now, just after replacing all 4 struts and shocks for OME lift kit (+30mm).
Is there any method to manually chack alignment, like with some rulers and such? Did you find out, if alignemnt for lifter vahicle is the same as for stock?
