Replacing A/C pressure switch

Hi, few days ago I was installing LED DRL lights and had to remove battery. When reinstalling I slipped, battery felt down into its seat sideways and somehow broke A/C refrigerant pressure switch , which is located on right side od A/C condenser, few inches from battery, just below A/C intake line. ...

I cannot really tell, as I have slightly larger tires (as mentioned), chip tuning (turbo boost almost to 1.4 bar/20psi) and with those I get approx 21 mpg.
Previous owner said it was around 27 mpg without those modifications.

...ups, sorry...I forgot mine is DIESEL!

I have just put on 265/70-R17 BFG T/A KO2 and they fit without rubbing on stock suspension. Must say those are MUCH BETTER than my previous Duratracs, especially on slippery, wet and snowy roads! Could not be more satisfied.

First try cleaning MAF sensor, which is just screwed with 2 bolts on air intake pipe, after air filter. Buy some MAF sensor cleaning spray (don't use any mechanical method or brake cleaner!), it's 8 EUR, remove 2 screws, pull the sensor out and clean it. Also diesel filter is not so expensive and it...

As long as you go uphill in 4LO only in STRAIGHT line, there is (theoretically) no additional stress to driveline, because all 4 wheels turn just about the same. This is especially (and practically) true in non-paved roads. So if that's your situation, you can safely shift into 4LO and pull that rig...

Some 20k later, so 50k in total on Duratracs: On wet tarmac, compacted snow and ice they became quite unreliable. Seems like softer outer compound is worn out and the worse lower layers came out. They have some 5-6mm of thread (13mm new) and I don't feel safe anymore. Beside that, I had 3 tires punc...

Simply - if the groove between shiny and rusty area is near to 1mm on any side, then rotors are toast. Not just for inspection, but for your safety. Thinner rotors overheat and cool down when driven over a poodle faster, so there's mush more danger of warping or even cracking.

Timing should not be an issue with water pump reinstallation, as it does not affect valves opening. The turning of crankshaft first clockwise to loose timing chain on tensioner before removal, then counterclockwise when removing pump with sprocket, and finally clockwise when installing new tensioner...

Check your breather tube, I'd bet real money its plugged. That's especially true for rear diff. As breather tube is clogged and you dive with hot diffs into cold water, diff will not be able to take a breathe through breather tube, so it will instead pull WATER through all possible diff seals into ...

I have replaced all U-joints myself and here's my experience: DIAGNOSIS: - prematurely you can know upfront which U-joint will fail maybe if you take driveshaft off the vehicle and see if any joint is either too light or too tight to move. - on vehicle - as told already - you can check if parked in ...

Xenon headlight flickering

Hi, for past few months I notice right xenon headlight (low beam) flickering when I drive over rough terrain or a bump. It's like turning OFF then ON again within 1 second, then sometimes it stays ON and sometimes it stays OFF. Lamps were both replaced with high quality Philips lamps some year ago. ...
