I've found the Westin model on a couple of vendor sites, and using the various "fit my truck" apps most have shown that they have them for 08 Frontiers. Here is the link to the place where I will likely purchase if I go this route: http://www.ultimatetruck.com/products/westin_off-road_ligh...

NVSteve - Any luck contacting White Rhino? I came across this bar over on a Frontier forum and I too was hoping it would fit my 08 Pathfinder. I've been looking for a light bar for as long as I've owned the truck with no luck so far...and a NO car garage townhouse ain't the place to do custom fab wo...

I agree...clean install...I LIKE IT! Been looking at ways to add lights to the front of my pathy for a while now (have OR lights on the roof, but they're covered for daily driving). I was going to go the bull bar route and mount a few big KCs or Hellas on that (or even a custom light mount like I ha...

I was just reading over the long OME thread, and think you may be correct as I won't be replacing the front springs, only the rears. I guess a standard "rental" spring compressor will work for the factory springs...

Many thanks! Looks like I'll need to at least rent a heavy-duty spring compressor. Should be an interesting project...

Shopping around, it actually looks like the 2" "Kit" from AC isn't a bad price - $440 for the 5100s for the front, 2" coils AND HD shocks for the rear. Think I may throw some tax refund cash in this direction. :) This will be a "front yard" install...any tips/tricks for...

No luck so far...been sidetracked by other projects, though. I think I'll remeasure and get back to the search - tired of having to push the hatch up to keep from hitting my head!

OK, my "new" OEM struts are starting to die now too (hit my head 2x this weekend). I took a look at the McMaster-Carr site per the Xterra folks, but not sure what strut to order. I measured the stock struts - 19 1/4"L extended, 13 3/4"L closed (5 1/2" stroke)...and I'm not s...

Thanks macbell7! I may just do this mod...even with the 'replaced' struts (which are just the non-total-junk-version of the original struts) I'm still less than happy with the hatch performance. Since I'm opening this ALL the time (3 kids, new baby, dogs, hauling stuff, etc, etc) making the change t...

I'm 6-1" and it grazes my head when open...and have to fully duck when it's cold. This is after the initial struts were replaced which barely openend the hatch at all...seems to open 'most' of the way now. Time for the OME kit and larger wheels/tires to give me a bit more head clearance

I couldn't agree more about the pathy handing the snow well. Here in the mid-Atlantic states, we received about 2' of heavy snow (that is a LOT for us) just before Christmas and I couldn't WAIT to see how the truck performed in the deep stuff. Took the pathfinder out mid-blizzard (probably not the s...

The antenna is a Radio Shack thru-window scanner antenna...kind of looks like a long cell phone antenna. Mounting the radio there doesn't cramp my legs any and is both out of the way and easily seen/accessed from the driver's seat. I'll take a pic or two of the radio (fire scaner) mount when I get a...

The struts on my 08 were weak/bad from the factory as well and had them replaced under warranty (after waiting for MONTHS for them to come in). Apparently, they are a popular item to replace. Now about 9 months later, I'm noticing (especially with the cold) that they're starting to not open the hatc...

Will do. Just waiting for the mount for my handheld radio (aka scanner) and I'll snap some shots when it's all installed. Not looking forward to the cable run, but I've done it before when I installed a rear-view camera so at least I know how all the plastic comes off
