Nice! Congrats!

Did your wheels come with center caps? I havent found a color matched set for cheap yet and my wallet is afraid to go to Nissan.

Thanks for the update! This is the way I've been looking to go as well.

Quick quesiton: Did you end up taking advantage of Rancho's strut rebate deal? If so, did you buy in store or go through 4wd website? Any recommendations?

I havent heard anything about them doing that. I have the same tires (albeit only about 2-3000 miles) and they do make a little noise but nothing extreme. With the way the tread pattern is big and blocky, I'd imagine chopping and feathering of the tread is probably easy to do. As long as you dont ha...

I bought a set off these from this Ebay user. 99 bucks a wheel and at the time I got free shipping. Im not sure if he has alternate wheel colors, but the gunmetal or whatever looks pretty amazing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/40300-9BD0A-Nissan-Frontier-Wheel-NEW-OEM-403009BD0A-/111361745574?pt=Motors_Ca...

Ya labsy, I feel ya there. I knew that hill like the back of my hand so there wasnt too much to worry about.

I guess we have to pick our spots a little better...or win the lottery and invest in some differentials and lockers lol

I was having similar problems climbing a muddy, snowy hill. I'd tried going up the hill slowly in 4Lo and got to a mushy point and started spinning tires and making little progress. I backed down a little bit and tried again in 4Lo with a little more speed, with a little more pedal. Same thing. So I...

So I clicked your link so I could save the item to my wish list (so it will notify me of deals/whathaveyou and it suggests more stuff to buy! It basically pieced together the HD rancho kit from that other website. Namely: The quicklift loaded front strut, the rancho coil spacer for the rear..and I'm...

Welcome to the Path! lol

I agree, removing those running boards was such a great first step. I see a ton of these on the roads and it went a surprisingly long way to making me feel like mine was a little different.

My short wife wasnt appreciative but she can jump...

If he called Nissan he might be correct. We get our bolts through the parts house (specialty products alignment kits) The camber/caster is locked in the front due to bolts with over-sized washers. The easiest way to adjust those is to replace the bolts with eccentric kits that allow the bolt to move...

I think its pretty common for a smallish shudder at the 45mph range. My vehicle does it and the engine is usually at about 1500-1600 rpms I think. Its just a resonance thing with the engine lugging and Nissan's transmission control trying to keep the rpms low despite needing to consider a lower gear...

I'm upgrading to the LE 18" wheels and decided to go with the Discoverer AT3's. They get pretty shining endorsements from many of the offroading magazines and non-commercialized sites (expedition portal) They get pretty favorable reviews for everything but ice traction (does that exist) and dee...

Went down my offroad hill this weekend and got SMJ's trick to work with no issue. Stopped on flat surface in 4LO, shifted to neutral. Switched to 2wd, blinky but no shutoff. Rotated wheels about 25% left and then right, blinky off 2wd engaged! Didnt require much crank at all, took about 2 seconds. W...

I havent had that issue personally but I know that some manufacturer TPMS sensors go into a "sleep" mode after a certain amount of time.

Could it be that the aftermarket sensors arent 100% like the Nissan OEM's and the computer doesnt know what to do when the sensors arent broadcasting?
