Re: Broken spring

Agreed, there will be no towing.

Replacing the coil springs seems fairly straight forward on these? I may locate some Moog springs on Monday and attempt the swap next weekend.

Is the bolt connecting the rear LCA to the knuckle prone to seizing? Will the bushing need to be replaced?

Broken spring

Hi all, While driving over good pavement yesterday I heard a loud Crack in the rear end. Sure enough I pulled the rear wheels off today and the passenger side spring broke! I had just found an indy mechanic who specializes in Nissans, but he's not taking new jobs until August due to health reasons. ...

Re: SIEMED Fog Lights - I like them

I just installed the Sylvania ZEVO LED bulbs to replace my headlights. They are definitely brighter, and help modernize the look of her, but I'm not sure they were worth the $130CDN I paid for them now that I see all the Amazon options lol. I'll order the Auxito yellow LED fog light bulbs next, then...

Pre-lift advice please

I am planning on a little lift this year, and need some advice. As much as I would love to roll with a 7" lift, I think that I'll go with the SF Creation 1.5"Fr- 1"Rr kit (https://sfcreation.com/product/1-5-1-kit-1-5fr-1rr-05-12/). I am currently running on 285/75R16 BFG KO2s, and cou...

Re: Aftermarket rear view camera?

Could it be fixed or do we need to replace? I'd like to keep things looking stock.. Fyi rockauto carry Dorman replacement cameras that look like they plug and play direct replacement (2012 V6 is a Dorman 590694). My camera was showing an upside down image in the screen for a while... But it seems t...

Re: 285/75R16 spare tire

UPDATE: I can now confirm that a 285/75R16 BFG KO2 fits perfectly in the spare spot of a Canadian 2012 R51 Pathfinder SV. I would actually argue that it fits better, as once the chain is snug there is zero wobble. With the 17" stock spare, there always seemed to be a bit of lateral wobble. Now ...

Re: Anyone here a member on clubfrontier.org?

I am not, but I'm curious which rims you're after. I've been looking for one of these for my spare for a year! Either I find a whole set and they don't wanna split them up or they are road rash trash. Plus I'm in Canada, and the salvage yards I've talked to in the US won't ship here. I did find one ...

Re: Cerakote / Griot's Garage headlight restoration kit

Does anyone know of a retail source for Cerakote in Canada? The headlight kit is $17USD + $20 shipping on their website ($17USD = $21.50CAD). The only source I've found in Canada is Amazon.ca, but it's $44CAD, and delivers in a week. Or I can order it on Amazon.com for $33CAD, and wait three weeks f...

Re: Spare tire-odd question…

Follow up question... Do you notice any damage to your spare rim from keeping it under there? I would like to buy a fifth rim to match, and then rotate all five every year, but I'm worried that it'll be beat to shit under there. I don't want to spend the cash on the rim if it's gonna look like shit ...

285/75R16 spare tire

Hi all, I am currently rolling on some ten year old 285/75R16 General Grabber AT2s on Xterra rims that came with my pathy when I bought her two years ago. It's definitely time for new rubber, and I'd like to buy another matching rim and 5 new 285/75R16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. My question is, wi...
