Wow, you guys get terrible MPG numbers. I live on a tiny island, so my highway driving wouldn't be considered highway compared to the mainland. Even so, I normally get 15-16 mpg. If I go on a long drive, I can get over 17 mpg and I have a V8. But I don't think we get winter blend gas.

That truck has a V8. He lives just up the road from me. Not sure if it's an aux. rad. or a relocated one. I hardly see him driving that particular truck. His normal street vehicles are an 11 sec. early 90s 2WD Toyota with 383 Chevy power and a lifted early 90s Chevy 4x4.

LOL

I just like to share some of the mud holes we have on Kauai. All of which my Pathy will never see for obvious reasons. I'm actually really jealous of you mainlanders. You have quite a bit of nice off-roading parks.

AFR should try to hover near stoichiometric (14.7) during low load or cruise conditions. It'll go on the richer side during WOT. How rich will depend on your mods. If your trim values are extreme (like 20%), then something is wrong. Normally, trim values are between -5% and 5%. Since your fuel consu...

Have you tried or thought about looking at OBD2 data first? Check AFR as well as short/long term fuel trim numbers. Parts stores often rent OBD2 scanners.

Was it also bad during the summer? Gas in Hawaii is consistent all year round, but I remember living in Colorado. They brought out a different blend for the winter. Also, did your area come out with a higher ethanol version? I lost 1-2 mpg on my old 4Runner when Hawaii switched to E10. Do you keep a...

You sound like someone who sits quietly in the corner saying "yes sir, sorry sir!". Nope, I'm just realistic about my expectations from my cars. I also don't complain about something just to complain. Like Storm said, you really have nothing to complain about yet since your SUV has been u...

I thought I remembered reading that the Titan CAI pipe needed to be shortened a little bit in order to fit the V8 Pathy. I just went with a K&N unit because they had a V8 Pathy specific CAI.

Just wondering, are you the person that sued McDonald's because the coffee was too hot? Or are you the one that sued junk food companies for making them fat?

I've never had a problem with mine, but I come from those days of the manual transfer case. No such thing as push button, turn-the-knob or shift-on-the-fly 4 wheel drive. LOL. It was all about manual locking hubs, where you needed to think ahead and lock the hubs beforehand or you'd end up having to...

P0455 is an Evap System Leak code. I keep getting the small leak and big leak codes. My local dealer has changed everything they thought it could be, but the leak still keeps popping up. It doesn't cause any driveability problems, so it doesn't bother me much. If you ever get it figured out, let me ...

Could it be because you have less vacuum under acceleration? Thus less vacuum to the brake booster. That would explain the increased pedal effort, but cruise is supposed to turn off when the ecu senses you've hit the brakes (via the brake switch). Is your brake switch malfunctioning?
