It's not terrible, bit of a tight fit. Probably took me about 90 mins total to actually change it and another 3 hours to find the friggin bolt that I dropped.

out of curiosity, why do you think your thermostat is bad?

I've got a bunch of valve caps floating around that have a split end on them to take the stems out...usually try to keep one on most of my bikes and such.

valve cores are really easy to change...thought they rarely go bad. I wonder if you just had a defective one. hope your problem is fixed.

I found the Stant 10508 on Amazon for the 2011 Pathfinder. I just want to make sure it will fit my 2012. Does anyone know if it doesn't? for the V6 Stant, lists a different part number for the 2011 vs 2012 You are correct. This is the one for the 2012's (V6 & V8 ) http://www.amazon.com/Stant-10...

As far as I am aware, there are no real differences between the 11 and 12 MY. should fit just fine, Amazon just isnt very thorough on some of their parts and fitting.

about 5k miles/6 months for me...the path doesn't see to many miles these days, mainly road trips.

haha, i lost the drivers side a couple years back. I just took the whole rack off though. theres a short somewhere. when you slam the door, there is contact being made in the switch from the sounds of things.
