Those are what I'll be switching to in a 245/75-17. Those came stock on my wife's Trailhawk (type not size, the TH runs a 245/65-17) and so far, have been a very decent tire.[/quote]

mods

Glad you like it. You can certainly push an r51 to the limits. Many of the members here have relatively tame pathys, but if you venture over to thenewx.org you'll see what can be done to a pathy/xtexterra/frontier. a titan swap or suspension lift, with a small body lift and a little trimming can mak...

update

So long story short, I replaced the 2 rear tires. The adjustment bolts in the rear were fine. The camber and toe were off In the front and rear. The lift had apparently settled quite a bit. The rear toe was off over 1 degree. I took it to sts and they refused to touch it because they couldn't guaran...

winter gas

You guys also need to know that us Northerners get "winter gas" this time of year. I can probably get 18-19mpg all highway, 15-16mpg city. yup. I get around 14mpg mixed driving and 16mpg highway with winter gas. closer to 13 if I've been using 4wd a bit. it's legitimately 3mpg worse than ...

it's pretty straight forward. it comes with excellent instructions and should take approximately an hour, give or take.

agreed. don't waste your money. order the intake manifold spacer from Gray at XTP. Hands-Down the best bang for your buck mod for the pathfinder/xterra/frontier.

It's not the camber that is wearing your tires, but the rear toe adjustment. Anything in green is within specs and anything in red is out of spec. Installing a camber/caster kit will have an affect on the toe as you tweek the camber adjustment, especially on the right side, but hopefully there will...

rear alignment issue (Help)

OK guys, so I've had my lift setup (it's in my sig) for about 14 months now and put about 10k miles on the suspension and tires so far. I happened to be looking at my tires yesterday and noticed that the inside 3 inches of the rear drivers side tire was nearly bald. the right rear was wearing slight...

tires

i'd go with the coopers (AT3 or ATW) or the toyo open country at2. probably 2 of the best at tires on the market and they both do it all and do it all very well.

On a stock suspension...now way! I believe the consensus is the largest 17" tire you can use on a stock suspension R51 is 285/70-17 and even that will cause some rubbing with the mudflap if you don't do a little melting and re-forming. There are a few threads already on the issue: http://www.t...

I hate to be that guy, but have you looked in the owners manual? A google search took me to this link if you don't have a paper copy: Manual A quick glance says to start with the trip button and there should be a maintenance option through that screen. Yup. That was it. I figured it out this aftern...
