Got all of the control arms from partsavatar.ca for $360 Canadian. Checked the dealer for the rear upper and rear front lower and the prices were almost the same. But they weren't greasable, and were going to take a few days to get there. Ended up having to do one or the rear lower coil buckets too ...

I hear you. I was under my truck, ready to do all the rear uppers and lowers. I called it and sent it to the shop, and the bill was NOT pretty. But lying on my back sawzalling for 2 days just wasn't going to happen.

Surprisingly, (or not) the most expensive part was getting the bolts from Nissan.

Correct. It may be rusted in a bit, use a piece of wood or a rubber mallet, try not to hit the end of the axle with a hammer too hard or it will mushroom on you.

Last few hubs I've done I ordered from Autoshack.com. The pathfinder was $65 canadian shipped to my PO box. So far so good, I've also used an Autoshack hub on my rogue. just rechecked the price on the website, and they've had a huge increase! I bought the hub assembly for $65, and now the listing f...

Nice! I just put a nice set of aftermarket OE style headlamp assemblies in my 05. I paid the local body shop $40 to put them in though so no pics. What a difference though, its like a new truck! :)

I went with the DT shortie headers and mid-pipes, keeping the upstream converters. If you go with no converters, you'll have to get a custom ECM tune from UpRev for two reasons. First, without the upstream converters, the P0420/P0430 catalyst codes will constantly trigger. Second, without the conve...

Our 2005 Pathy has 215k miles on it (345000km). Realistically, we have about 2-5 years left, and we need something that can tow to replace it. Or any collision or accident, or catastrophic mechanical failure could mean we need to start looking immediately... (fingers crossed!) I am giving serious th...

I've sometimes pondered the idea of trading my '06 LE in for a newer Nissan Rogue. The CVT transmission and poor customer satisfaction score (Consumer Reports) for the Rogue has given me concerns. I also don't want a car payment, so I'll be sticking with it a few more years. We've been driving a 20...

Hey SMJ, So if I went with the Thorley long headers and the mid pipes, I'd have no cats at all, right? Do they have a bung for the F/A sensors? I don't see one in the pics... (EDIT: I just noticed there is a port for the F/A sensor in a different pic on the long pipes... intriguing!!!) Hmmm... we do...

perhaps you had a hotter thermostat in it before, and they went back to OEM? Do you know what they installed? See if you can find out. I always stick with OEM in my vehicles. The aftermarket ones just look like poor quality, and my experience with them has never been good. A normal position on the h...
