Hey Carl, Welcome to the V8 Pathie Club! 2012 is the last year of the true, truck based, Pathfinder. The V8 will even be more valuable and rare soon. 70K on mine now, without any problems, no transmission problems (no by-pass, all looks good), no leaks. You know I beat my truck up! The only thing I ...

Another one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RDRXsOH3Is Excellent! I believe you have the same suspension as mine: Radflo Extended fronts, and Radflo Extended rears. Great setup. Turns the Disconnecting the the sway links make a HUGE difference. I do that to mine everytime I do the hard stuff. Takes...

How much would I expect to spend having a shop swap out those gears? About $250-300 per diff. However, if you do both at the same time, could be a bit cheaper. What size tires you're going with? Any plans on suspension mods? Let me know if you're going to pull the trigger. Your'e gonna love the pow...

I've been reading through this and there is a lot of great information. Now that you've had this for awhile has there been any long term alignment issues with your setup? Thanks. Great pictures. I had problems originally aligning the rear, but eventually worked it out by taking to a place that spec...

Saw your link to this thread and this is exactly what I want my 08 V8 to do. Love it. Have any regrets or anything you would have done different? Besides a huge drop in gas mileage (ha)? Heck, I knew this was going to happen once I start modifying my rig 8). We didn't buy a V8 for economy, that's f...

I haven't spent too much time. I had a local shop install the gears when they had it open to install the ARB locker. Get the ring & piyons at the junk yard. Here in San Diego, there were a few 3.357 Armadas at the junk yard. Fairly easy to find. If you are doing the swap, might as well install t...

Can someone chime in who knows for sure on this? Can I swap out my gears with a pathfinder V6 or would it have to be an armada? Hey Clay350 I haven't been on here for a while due to my new business venture, however, link here for everything you are looking for from an old thread of mine: http://www...

Re: Nissan Pathfinder Arctic Truck -

Carrier arms (may be another word that is more correct) that will allow longer travel on the suspension. You now those arms holding your suspension and wheels on place, upper and lower? Sorry, but my english aint that good when it comes to complex parts on a car! Anywow, they have their own that us...

Re: Nissan Pathfinder Arctic Truck -

So whats the plans? I am thinking of lifting it around 2.5 inches on the suspension, fit custom AT carrier arms, spacers on the rear, fit 37 og 38inch tyres, remove the DPF filter (diesel particle filter) and tune the engine... maybe change the gear ratio on the differential..... Hey remyek, What i...

Re: 2008 Pathfinder LE V8 Tires

I am needing to replace the factory BF Goodrich Long Trail T/A's on my Pathfinder and am wanting to check with you guys on better tires before I go ahead and grab another set. I would prefer a slightly more aggressive tred without looking OFF ROAD but tamed like the factory ones do since 95% of the...

I must have missed your post about getting the Duratracs? At any rate, with that size tire (I'm guessing an E?), are you getting any frame rubbing at all? Any issues with the tire, noticeable drop in mpg, etc? Hey NVSteve, I have 275/70/18 E Ratings. Basically they are a bit taller than 33". I...
