Thanks for the replies. I guess that leads to my next question; how difficult would it be to run a wire stringing all the lights together? Is it possible to fish a wire in between the roof and headliner, or would I have to remove the headliner? I'm really only looking to be able to control the 2nd r...

No interior light switch?

I've looked through the manual and looked over the driver controls and cannot find a way to turn on all the interior lights (all three dome lights) with the door closed. Even with my monkey arms, I can't reach into the back seat to manually turn on the 2nd row dome light. Normally this function is a...

Yes, the manual talks about a thermal shutoff so it doesn't burn your hands.

I'm like you, the heated steering wheel is quick becoming one of my favorite features on this truck.

Those look great. Any more details on your tire/suspension setup?

I drove my LE during the blizzard in Minneapolis on Saturday back and forth across the city during the worst of the storm. The plows couldn't keep up and the drifting was insane. I saw a lot of 4x4s in the ditch after they got off the beaten path a bit and got pulled in by the deep snow. Some guy in...

Does anyone know if this exists on 2010 Pathfinders? I have an LE, but there does not seem to be "soft close" mechanism and was wondering if I should have the dealer check it.

I was in the same boat as you and chose the Pathfinder about one month ago. It was really a tough decision for me as they both have their pros and cons. The Pathfinder LE we bought seemed to be a lot more luxurious than the Limited 4runner. The new 4runner interior is an improvement from the last ge...

I bought a new Pathfinder a few weeks ago and mine does the same thing. As others have stated, it's just the exhaust and heat shields, and nothing to be concerned about.

Well, I ended up picking the Pathfinder over a 4runner. I bought new because used car prices are really inflated right now; two years old and 30K miles wasn't worth the $4-8K in savings. Picked up a new LE fully loaded with the nav package. I'll miss the Rodeo though. http://i46.photobucket.com/albu...

Thanks for the responses and goodnatured welcome. I'm digging through the forum now to be an educated buyer if we do choose the Pathfinder. The ride of the 4runner isn't a deal breaker for me as I anticipate new shocks and springs in whatever we purchase. Also, my Rodeo rides like a Wrangler so eith...

New Member pondering Pathfinder or 4runner

Just signed to get some more info on Pathfinders as I continue to look for something to replace a lifted Rodeo. Although the Rodeo has been very good to me, it's getting up there in mileage and it doesn't have the creature comforts or the safety rating of newer vehicles. The replacement vehicle woul...
