I had a check engine light when my sending unit went bad so your check engine light might eventually pop up. Nissan sells the sending unit separately but depending on your mileage it might be wise to replace the fuel pump while the tank is out.

The mileage and dates appear to be listed but I'm not sure about the rest. PS=power steering fluid? AF = auto transmission fluid?

My suggestion would be to replace all fluids, air filter, spark plugs, fan belt. That way you know for sure all the maintenance is up to date.

Here's how I replaced my steering boot. You have to remove the tie rod end to install the new boot so I would recommend an alignment check be done to make sure your toe-in is still good.

I don't see any reason to. The factory plugs work just fine. Mine still looked good at 100k miles.

Perhaps a bad belt tensioner? Or the alignment of one or more of the belt driven accessories could be off. May want to have that checked out.

What exaclty do you mean by fan pulley bracket? Are you referring to the idler pulley bracket?

Most code readers will not diagnose or reset airbag codes. Any reader that can do that costs much more than taking it to the dealer. Any number of things could cause the airbag light to come one. Something simple such as a faulty seatbelt sensor could be the culprit. Even should you find and fix the...

I have an 05 and I received a letter from Nissan 3 years ago which stated that the warranty for the fuel sending unit was extended to 72 months/72,000 miles for 05-08 models. Unfortunately the time limit for this warranty is almost up and I believe you are already past the mileage limit.

There is not a fuel filter to replace on these vehicles. One less thing on your to-do list. :D

Check the wear indicator on the brake pads. It's a small metal bar that will make contact with the rotor when the brake pads are worn out.

I've got the same issue on my front bumper. I just thought it was poor adhesion to the plastic but apparently it's just crappy paint/primer.

Is that YJ in the reflection yours?

Have you checked the headlight relay? From what you've described, it appears that the entire IPDM is faulty. Its very unlikely that so many sensors would go bad at the same time.

Given your driving habits and use of a premium oil and filer, I don't see a need to replace your oil and filter more than once a year. I couldn't find anything in my Pathfinder manual about a maximum time interval between oil changes. The owner's manual for my wife's Acura states that the oil in it ...
