I think I found the same red one you have in the back. I pulled out the middle seat in the second row (its suprisingly heavy) to allow quick access for kids to run to third row seat; thats when I noticed a hole in the floor. Looks perfectly round about size of nickel, not from rust but not sure why ...

Mine wouldn't shut no matter how hard I slammed it. I opened the small plastic housing and pulled the emergency trapped inside cord. Worked

Thank you all for the info. Anyone try out the ones from the xterra site? 4 to 6 additional inches will keep head from bumping, but wonder if too high for wifey.

Need to do one of these soon or start wearing a helmet.

I also need to fix my glass window. My trunk ( I think this is what you are calling the boot) is fine. However, it would be nice to find a slightly longer pieces as I have hit my head several times. Anyone out there find a away to get the trunk (boot) to open and rest at a higher angle?

Re: Coil swap-out

You should have the alignment checked. If you raised the ride height over stock with the new springs, the camber will also be affected. Yes. Thank you. I can already tell the alignment looks different. I think in all, it will only be 1/2 inch taller from original brand new oem. Have to replace oute...

So I replaced both of my stock rear springs - both were broken, with a new pair from autozone, part cs81117 (stock for 08 V8 pathfinder). Mine is 06 V6, but I am guessing the taller and stiffer 08 would be fine. Same price for both versions - with coupon I got the pair for around $120. So far rides ...

Anytime you move the travel a shock was used to it will shorten its life. I would recomend getting new shocks if you are lifting it just so you start fresh. Thanks Thupertrooper. How about this http://www.4x4parts.com/i-18981116-pathfinder-medium-duty-rear-lift-coils.html It states .5 inch lift So ...

I had the same issue, however both my rear springs are cracked. I thought something was strange as the car had rear-facing downward trajectory. Question: Since I am going to replace the rear springs, good idea to buy taller spring for some rear lift - while keeping all other parts (rear shocks, fron...
