Well I got tired of the mess... so I added a shelf made from plastic shelf kit I picked up at Home Depot, along with a long heavy duty plastic box for hide-away storage. About $30 total. Before & After http://www.geneinman.com/img/s6/v144/p938860762-4.jpg http://www.geneinman.com/img/s12/v187/p7...

Much, much better. I tried a little brute strength as skinny2 suggested. I also adjusted the latch. I loosened the three 12mm bolts on the latch bracket in front of radiator and tapped it down. My latch moved about 1/8" down....tighten bolts. Much better on highway. As for bumper stops. My 08 p...

Mine tends to vibrate along the sides. Wind or trucks passing makes the hood look like jello. Yes, that's it.... Jello across the middle of hood from fender to fender, with the front and rear edges near the hinge and latch secure and not vibrating. As I say, as if the hood is not stiff enough. I wi...

Sometimes my hood gets to vibrating from the wind more than usual. I give the hood a little twist/tweak and that makes it stop (for awhile). The wind noise around the windshield decreased quite a bit after that. I'm not sure if it was buffeting air or what.. What did you do to tweak the hood?? I ha...

Did you re-align the rear wheels? If not, do! Lifting can cause your rear end to become out of alignment. In my case, it was unsafe to drive above 50mph. Not all big box shops can do rear wheel alignment properly... Also, you should invest $100 in a set of airbags (Airlift). They will reduce rear en...

Can you anyone confirm these are for use with a leaf-spring? My brother just bought a 2000 Infiniti QX4 as a ranch truck. (R50), and I was going to add Airlifts to it on my next trip. The picture on the Airlift site looks like a coil spring model, even though it's listed for a 2000 Infiniti/Path? I ...

I clean mine every few months at the self wash with a wand. More for the mud and fine red Texas dust that gets everywhere. I use "Gunk" multi-surface. It cuts grime and oils without hurting the plastics, and gives a nice oil free shine to plastics & paint. I don't use the car wash's en...

I just got this exact same rack and love it. It's amazing how the fairing makes the rack nearly silent -- definitely a must-have if you don't want to feel like you're flying in a jumbo jet (noise). I did notice a 1.5 mpg drop in fuel economy on the highway (anything above 55). Not bad. Yea the fair...

Did you turn your pathfinder on by accident one day as well? Is that how you know you have a remote start? I suggest if you don't feel like taking it somewhere to write down all the different sequences you have tried. I know your's is probably different then mine but did you try the sequence I just...
