testing the limits of the pathy

Postby jefbarn » Fri Nov 27, 2009 12:17 pm

howdy...thought you would all like to hear a pathfinder success story. Just drove from Tucson AZ to Anchorage AK last week towing a 6000lbs cargo trailer, and the pathy made it without a hickup.
Have a 2005 V6 pathy with 35k miles. Have the air bags on the rear springs. Picked up some snow tires in Calgary, and did the last 500 mi in 4wd mostly.
Total trip distance was 3800mi

Glad to hear it. Sounds like you are testing the limits. Isn't the '05 Path rated at 5000 lbs max tow weight?
