Grille guard OEM

Postby HydroPonix » Thu Jan 09, 2014 2:51 pm

So I found a brush guard I like, I looked all over the place...

Its a 2006 Frontier Grille guard part 999t4 br200

Does anyone know if the Frontier guard fits a 2005 Pathfinder?

Alright! Fits like a dream. Plus, they did not have to remove the light bar in my bumper. It looks nice, high quality, It will just take some getting used to is all because it is quite big. I called the local Nissan dealer, Tynnan's here in Aurora, and they had found 9 across the US in storage, at a little under $400 and because I had it sent to the dealer, I didn't have to pay shipping.

Is there any reason to think it wont fit the 08+ models?

Is 08 when they changed the front end? If they did, it will still fit, it just wont be flush with the front end and will "stick out" more. Im thinking the 05 to 07, if you look at the car from the side it has a more boxy design while the 08+ are more curved and aerodynamic. The mounts are the same, i would think, its just the guard will appear to be straight up and down and the car will curve away from the bars. You could probably do something to the main bracket mounts to put an angle on the bumper bar, but I dont know.

this is the issue using the grill guard will cause. the nose of the 08+ pathy was extended to give room for the v8. so the brush guard would look angled or offset.

Although not the same, it resembles volvite's, and his is an 08 V8.

More places to mount LED's - looks tough.
