R51 Diesel cylinder head

My Pathfinder (2.5 diesel) blew a head gasket, the garage tells me that the cylinder head is probably warped, but cannot be skimmed on these vehicle, I thus need a replacement, is this true?

OK, appears to be cracked, any recommendations on decent price replacement?

you may need to look into a decent refurb engine. TQhough I'm not sure on the economics of this for a diesel engine.

Most people on here have the 4.0 VQ40 gas.

My normal channles for parts like this have come up empty... wrecker?
