18 inch magnaflow drone

So I just installed an 18 inch magnaflow on my 2011 Pathfinder. Love the sound when idling and 25 mph. However the drone on the freeway is unbearable. Anyone have any recommendations? Preferably other than changing to the 22 inch muffler?

I have a 22", regardless it had a drone like yours on highway around 70/75mph.
even before I installed Long tube Headers.
I installed Vibrant Ultra Quiet Stainless resonator after the muffler on the tail pipe
It still sounds loud when you step on it. but on highway speeds, you wont believe the difference. and you will not loose power or gain any back pressure its flow threw design like the magnaflow.
they are around $90 bucks shipped on fleebay. here is how they look.
I have 2.5" you will probably need 2 or 2.25"

Thanks! I'll have to give it a try....my r51 has a resonator just before the exhaust tip already...are you suggesting I replace the OEM one with this?

So you never removed the oem resonator.
That's a good question. I have not compared oem to the vibrant, since I replaced the oem tail pipe all together for the 2.5 inch without resonator at first, and then i added the resonator, thats what made big difference for me.
what is the size of the oem resonator?
I would try vibrant for $90 bucks I would bet it will make it better on highway, and you will also have a rust free resonator, you wont have to worry about.

Is this on a V8 or V6?

I have a an 18" MF muffler, and cat-less b-pipes and do not have a drone like is described here. I've had both 18 and 22" muffler, and the 22" was too quiet, and then I got drastic and got the 18" along with catless b-pipes, sounds really good on the V8.

I think his is 6 ours is 8. I don't think I can say in my case it was exactly drone. It got much louder on the highway once I changed my Diff Gears.
And resonator helped to town it down on highway speeds.
