rear lower ball joint replacment

so I have a rear lower ball joint making all kinds of noise anyone know a part number for rear lower ball joints on a 2006 pathfinder only thing I have found is FIRST LINE Part # FBJ5662 on rock auto Part is designed for EU Market vehicles not sure this will be what I need and its shipped from Great Britain at $30.71 just for shipping

I wouldn't screw around with it. Change the control arm.

They are not meant to be serviced separately; you are supposed to replace the whole, lower control arm. Online Nissan dealers sell them for around $83+shipping. Mevotech has them on the aftermarket for $10 cheaper (I would go with the Nissan part). I would also recommend you get new bolts and nuts, as the old ones will probably be rusted and/or may be seized to the bushings and need to be cut out.

Local nissan dealer control arm and bolts $169 and about 3 hours of cussing and cutting. :lol:

Sawzall works very well at cutting the bolts.
