rear coil spacer info needed

Postby mikesuperrc » Wed Jun 17, 2015 1:49 am

Hi.

I'm currently looking for info on rear coil spacers for the r51, i was looking for them on the net etc and cant find anything really.
I had a bit of a search on this forum and cant find what I'm after either :(

There seems to be plenty of front strut spacers around but nothing for the back in the pathys.
or do u just go custom in the back.

I thought that would be the easiest way but couldn't find much info,
eg what dimensions for the spacer/ spring diameter etc.
what thickness spacer gave what hight lift, eg with the fronts a 35mm spacer gives a 50mm lift is it the same in the back?

I'm personally just chasing 40mm front and back or maybe 40mm in the front n 50mm in the back, Don't want to push the cv's or worry bout uca's hitting etc.
And here in Qld, Australia i can only go 50mm max in suspension before needing engineer cert. and mod plates.

would be great to find out so i can get some hight happening :D

Thanks
Mike

ok nice i like the look of the prg ones better. look more durable.
if i could get some specs i could prob turn some up my self.
Im thinking by time i ship them its prob just as chep to get new springs.

also will i need to get new shocks in the back or will the factory ones work at a 40mm lift.

Thanks Mike
