I search but cannot find confirmation of 97 Terrano II

Postby zcwagon » Wed May 11, 2016 12:15 pm

Hey

My son in law has a Terrano II in Chile. He asked for my help with a driver side front upper tray.

I assume this same as a R50 or 97 Pathfinder?

Second I assume an upper tray is the upper A Arm which holds the ball joint?

Last, is this part interchangeble between Terrano and Pathfinder?

Last Anyone got one or know where I can get one cheap. Used, rebuilt?

Thanks
Jeff

No, we don't have this in the US. It was more common in the UK, Australia and Japan. Apparently, it's based on the same platform as our 1987-1995 Pathfinder platform, but the body is completely different and I would expect trying to figure out part interchangeability would be difficult, which would probably be limited to some of the suspension and brakes...maybe. Even the engines are different than what we have here, although the KA24S would be a carbureted version of the KA24E used in some our Hardbody trucks. Here's more info on the Terrano II:
