P1273

Postby R2D21 » Fri Jan 27, 2017 4:20 pm

I have a 2005 pathfinder with 173,139 code P1273, I've replaced the O2 sensor on the passenger side of the truck and cleared the code by unplugging the maf, starting the truck for 5 seconds, plug it back in, clear the codes with my scanner and then run the truck for 10 minutes at idle. I've done this and disconnected the negative terminal afterward for 2 full days. After a day or so of driving, the light comes back on. I've cleaned the maf as well. I put nonfowlers in the two rear O2 sensors... the cel just keeps popping back up with P1273. Any ideas? Also, the idle is fine when the light is on or off

You need to clear the self-learning. There was a Nissan service bulletin regarding this issue: NTB04-126
