NIssan Pathfinder 2008 Transmission Issues

Dear all,

I have a 2008 Nissa Pathfinder 2.5 Diesel, automatic. The issue I have is with the transmission, where the car starts fine but after about 5 mins the transmission when pulling away slips to 3rd gear so is very sluggish pulling away. If you leave the car for a while and then start and pull away again it works fine for about 5 mins then stops.

Has anyone got any ideas, I live in Jamaica and all the mechanics here are puzzled.

Please help. :D

welcome to the NIssanpath.
We have a couple of competent technicians on ehre alas they are all US based and so not very familar with the Diesel trucks ...
