I just bought over the weekend a 92 4 door with 280K
Got it for a grand, engine rebuilt 38K ago.
going to replace:
Muffler (removing catalyc, and planting a tree)
power steering pump
passenger mirror
drivers front turn assembly
then it needs an intense tune up and its good to go.
Some dents over rear wheel wells and rust on the spare tire rack, and on the step bars, but other than that in pretty decent shape. Someday will need a paint job. My wife and I both took layoffs last year and lost our 05 Titan. Fell in love with Nissans driving it. Wife is going back to school so this will be my daily driver for a couple years, if its still kicking I will start monsterfying it once she is back employed full time!

Good luck with the repairs. Sorry to hear about the layoffs, but it sounds like you guys are making good choices to make ends meet. As I mentioned to another new member, you should start a new thread detailing your work so everyone can see the progress.
