My Custom Engine Cover

Postby GimmieSumMo72 » Sat Sep 19, 2009 2:36 pm

Since members were curious what my custom cover was...

with the CAI it seemed that there was something missing from the engine, so what i did was cut the old intake cover/pipe to fit over the CAI piping.

nissan charges a premium for the nismo badging.

i guess you can go with a K&N fpik and probably get the same results, but I love the CAI, i'd never go back to stock unless the MAF starts to go.

it sounds great and gives the PF a top end boost around 4500 - 5000 rpms.

I can see the reflection of your 7-er in the grill of the Path on one of the pics! I was a member on bimmer forums as well before I sold my E38 and I remember seeing your posts. Now its back for SUVs for me.

I've been into nissan trucks ever since I set my eyes on my uncles '89 PF, I eventually bought it when I got my license.

the E38 is my 007 car, and sold my E36 in april to pick up an E31.

good to see you around!
