Coolant Level question

Tech, being a relative idiot with cars, where exactly is that bleeder nipple? I have no idea which hose is the heater hose, but I have a 2005 and figure it would be good to know even if I fixed my immediate problem...

I found the heater pump and followed the hose that went to the firewall and didn't see what I thought I was looking for. However, I just did a search on google for bleeder nipples and apparently I was definitely looking for the wrong thing. Now, the question is, even if I find one which I could have easily overlooked (but can't look again till morning), what do I do when I find it?
