Squeaky rear suspension

Postby Kelso » Wed Mar 30, 2011 8:52 am

Hello all,

I am new here and must say this site is what I have been looking for.

I have a 2003 Path with 109xxx miles and my rear suspension squeaks over every little bump. It has year old Monroe shocks on the rear. I am wondering if it is the bushings? Has anyone had this issue?

I have had the same issue but mine is not that bad. My pathy still has stock struts and shocks and also has 180k miles so if anyone knows please let us know.

I dealt with this issue from the time of that post until about 2 weeks ago and the issue was the rear bushings. Unfortuantly for myself, my suspension links and traction bars were bent out of shape which all had to be replaced. Very expensive but the truck rides like new. No squeeking and rear sagging anymore.

mine has just 105K and started squeaking in the last few months.

Will take a look at the suspension links and see if i can see anything.
