installing a jensen 9224bt

Hi everyone, I have a 08 pathfinder and got a jensen 9224bt dvd/cd unit. As of now I am going to hook it up as rec by the company. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to tap into the parking brake wiring so I can hook it up so I can watch a dvd while parked. The box came with a pink wire I am supposed to hook up. I know there are mods out there but I really want to get this in for my wife for moms day and will play with the mods another time when I have more time.
