'96 Path Power Window Help Please!!

Postby LastManSwerving » Thu Aug 25, 2011 3:26 pm

Been driving my pathfinder for years and its served me so well. However, just recently the driver's window refuses to go up.

There is no noticeable sound when trying the switch. I took off the door frame but I don't know much about cars. When unplugging the switches from the cable, all my windows stopped working, which led me to believe it might be the fuse (I tampered with it a little) but plugging it back in made the other window switches work again. Thought it was a little strange all the doors' switches go through the drivers.

So it's not the fuse. I'm thinking if it was a motor issue it might make a clacking sound when pressing the switch or at least release the window so I could pull it up. So my best guess is a switch problem. Thoughts?

Please shed some light for me!!

Thanks
Zack
