I asked the same task of Brit a while back. IIRC it came in somewhere in the neighborhood of $700 PER lamp assembly. So $1400 for just the headlights. If you search through the site here you'll find it in one of the threads.

I'd be willing to drop the coin if the performance was up to snuff. While I have no doubt it is better than our Halogens, I just don't think it is going to prove to be $1500 better. For that I could purchase an ARB/Shrock front bumper and mount driving lights on it and still have left over gas money.

Halogens look way washed out compared to the EU spec Xenon's.

1.5 meters from wall.

thanks
One thing I can promise you, it won't be cheap (and that is before shipping)

Only the two headlights, or the "high voltage" box and wiring too?

What he said :D

But I sent a dealer a mail (not mine, because he's an idiot)

If I were you guys, I'd try some kind of bi-xenon first. Is the US headlights a H4 bulb?

That seals the fact that I need a new camera if your phone can take those good of pictures.

I had assumed it was the assembly with wiring, but no idea to be honest. Brit was met with resistance and lots of "it won't work" or "it can't be done" at the dealership so at $700 already I wasn't going to press him. But it could very well not even include the wiring jacking the price up further. :-/

Can you take a pic of a wall with your lights shining on them?

So we can have a HID/Halogen/bixenon-kit comparison.. :)

I'll try to get them tonight...

And all the kits are pretty much the same basic components, unless you get the bi-zenon kit...

Mine are from some company I had never heard of called Spear Light. So far so good, and come with a one year warranty.
