Need to replace coolant bypass hose dealer quoted just under $2000.00
To fix.I just don't and won't have that kind of money any time soon.

Want to know how hard this is to do myself ? or if maybe you have some input
2005 pathfinder 4.0L

Can you be a bit more specific on what needs to be replaced? Replacing a hose should run about $100-200.

It's the aluminum pipe that's starts on the passenger side and routes behind the motor . I have a thread in the R51 forum that has links to the part.
