Okay, well I picked up a set of 06 Armada mirrors. Took off the Pathfinder mirrors and door panels etc... The mounting holes do not line up with the Pathfinders at all. Either does the back side of the mounting plate. So I started to do some drilling for the Armada mirrors and that won't even help. The back side of the mounting plate needs to sit recessed on the pathfinder door.

So I did a mock up with some duct tape to see if the Armada mirrors would be much better than the Pathfinder mirror. Well its not. The Armada mirror doesn't stick out that much more. About 1.5" BUT the angle of which the mirror sits is not right. It actually angles more toward the vehicle than outwards (like I would need for towing) So all in all the Armada mirrors will not fit, even with modifications.

Just thought I would save some people the hassle of trying.

Anyone want to buy a set of Armada mirrors? LOL

Bit on the high price side and not something I would want to leave on the PF full time. Mostly I just don't like the high price, though they do look like they would work very well for towing.

Alrighty, so what are people using that's cheap and works well?

Have a 7.5 foot wide enclosed trailer and it's impossible to see directly behind me.
