1998 Pathfinder

Hi I'm new here, just picked up a pathfinder a couple weeks ago, here it is.

I have had a slight issue with it today though, I posted in the specific forum already but I figure i'd post this here too. I had the truck in 4Lo today to test it out to make sure that it was working properly, I was pleased to find out it was working perfectly. However I put it back into 2Lo except it wouldn't get out of 4Lo. I searched and found out that the truck needs to be in neutral when going into and out of 4Lo, and if it gets stuck, then you need to reverse and it will pop out. I tried this and it worked, now the truck is back into 2Lo.

However this is kind of a pain in the ass, is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

Welcome. With an at you have to put it in neutral to shift in and out of 4lo. I know a lot of people that shift the t-case in neutral no matter what.

can you put the truck into neutral and shift into 4Lo while the truck is moving? I'm going to assume that the answer is no, but I just thought i'd ask.
